Call Of Duty 4 - PunkBuster problem | Please help!

OK...!

So I've installed call of duty 4 from an original CD,every thing seemed to work just fine...

I've finished the single player and moved to the multiplayer I've been playing for about 3 weeks now.

I've encountered a strange problem with the punkbuster it seems to work but i started kicking me out of games

with strange messages like: punkbuster timed out trying to update or some strange kick i got just today,I don't

remember what did it say but i remember the reason was unknown and i got kicked for 2 minutes.

I tried to download newer versions of the punkbuster,it seemed like it fixed it but the same thing came up

the very next day....

Can someone please explain whats the problem here, maybe I missed something or i don't know...

looking forward for any suggestions~

WOW, I was having same problem; random boot from games in CoD4.

Never get it with my other punkbuster games though. I'll check out the link you guys provided, thanks.
